I'm really torn on this... all of the "to do" lists tell me that I'm supposed to be sending rehearsal dinner invitations in the next couple of months. The only people being invited to our rehearsal dinner are parents, grandparents and bridesmaids/groomsmen and their families. All of these people will be at the rehearsal (wherever that ends up being... still TBD) and the plan is to go right from the rehearsal to the dinner, so everyone will be there already.
SO, the thing that I'm torn in is...
Do I spend separate invitations for the rehearsal dinner or just make phone calls and make sure people know their spouses/kids are invited?
Your thoughts???
We did paperlesspost.com invites for the rehearsal dinner. It worked great and you could even address it to everyone who was invited (example: The Doe Family, or John and Jane Doe). It only ended up costing like, $5 in in the end!
ReplyDeleteMy cousin sent out free e-vites with a built in RSVP. They were cute and cost no money!!
ReplyDeleteWE WERE HAVING THE EXACT SAME DEBATE THIS WEEKEND! I love the other two options stated here and I'm going to check those out. But we were thinking of having very cheap postcards from vistaprint printed up that was an invite/timeline of the whole weekend so that our bridal party would know where they have to be for the rehearsal, what time to arrive to get ready saturday for the wedding, what time they are being picked up for the church, etc. etc.
