Our Ring Bearer

I know I've already shown some really funny pictures of our Ring Bearer from the reception, but what about before the shirt came of???  :-D

He is Jason's nephew (my nephew now, too) and he is 3 1/2 and has more energy than I could even wish for!  He has a little bit of a crush on me and when he sees curly hair, he thinks it's me.  I love hearing stories about him from J (that he gets from his sister and his mom)...

For a while, it was "Lexi's wedding" that he was going to... J wasn't a part of it.

When is mom started talking with him about walking down the aisle, she asked if he wanted to walk with her or with Fiona, our flower girl, to which he answered, "Mom, I don't walk with Fiona... that's Shrek".

When he finally did meet Fiona, he instantly fell in love.  He took her hand and they walked all around together.  Fiona is about a year and a half older than him and probably the most mild mannered child you could ever find, so the firecracker that is B was, at times, more than she could handle.

On the morning of the wedding, he asked his mom if he was going to marry Fiona that day... he was sad when she told him no, but he was sure to stay right by her for as much of the day as he could.

He is such a sweet boy... he told me lots of times that I looked like a princess and gave me one of the greatest hugs a new aunt could ever ask for.

He got tired of taking pictures, but he did a great job of sticking with us...

So helpful...

Even though he was tired, he powered through the day and made the most of the party  :-D

Mom, Dad, I need a drink...

Cake?  Yes please...
Heck Yeah!!!  Party

Spin faster Uncle J

I sure wish we were closer to J's sister so we could see them more!

Ring Bearer Pillow - CHECK!!!

As promised on Tuesday, here is an update on my fantastic, DIY ring bearer pillow!!

You may remember my excitement that my first sewing machine lesson resulted in the insides of our ring bearer pillow.  Well, since it was my first lesson, I was not trusted (by myself) to make the rest of the pillow.  My FMIL has been working on both our guest book and the ring bearer pillow and I was SOOO excited to get a picture from her of the pillow!!!

Isn't it cute!?!?!  I'm going to have to see it in person to make sure it's what I want, but I'm pretty sure it is!  It's not completely done... she has not fully attached everything... but as soon as I see it at Christmas time, I'm going to count it as complete!  One more thing checked off the list... WOOO HOOOO!

I'm not exactly sure how much it ended up costing, but I've done my research and something like this runs between $25 and $50 online... so I'm pretty sure I made out pretty well on this one, especially since it is the exact colors and look that i wanted!!
