Engagement Pictures

We took our engagement pics on Tuesday and it was REALLY fun!!!  Our photographer (Catie's Captures) had some really fun ideas and we kind of went all over the place and took pictures.  Some of these have been edited and some have not, but here's a preview!!

We started at the local library and took a few really cool pictures... this is my favorite of those.

Then we walked down to the tea house, where my mom, aunts, cousins and grandma usually go for lunch each summer, and took a few there.

We stopped at a church down town and took some really great ones there...

And then went out to a place called The Orchid and took some pictures out in the field on their property.

  

This is also where we had our first outfit change.  We had some really great pictures in the first outfit, but looking back, the outfits just don't look as much like "us" as some our second one.  It was fancier than we usually are, or something like that.

Then we hopped in the car and after a quick lunch and a great chance to do some chatting, we headed up to the lake.  We took a short detour and went down town, and this is actually where my favorite pics were taken!  There were so many different places down there that I had no idea would make for such great pictures!

This is the door to the restaurant that my Grandma and Grandpa owned when my dad was young.

And while we dried off some, she took some cool pictures of my ring on the beans on our huge Catalpa Tree that sits right in front our our lake cottage.

There were 591 pictures in total.  I think there were 55 of those that we really liked!  We are waiting on some edits before we pick which one we use on our save the date magnets, but hopefully those will be ordered soon!!!

Finally, I do have one that is my absolute favorite... it just looks so much like us...
