PLUS, this would also solve our problem of the mismatched number in the wedding party. Right now we have 9 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen and a ring bearer (who we were planning to have walk with his mom anyway). So adding a flower girl who could walk with one of our other cousins (bridesmaid) would even things up.
My only reservation is that she doesn't know me that well... it's not like I see her all the time. I would also hate to have my cousins (her parents) feel like they can't say no to it, even though I would plan to buy her dress and accessories (which can sometimes get way too expensive). I just don't want to have a flower girl just to have one, but really... why else do you have one?
Just to stop me from talking... how fun would it be to include such cuteness in my wedding...
yes to a flower girl... handsdown.
ReplyDeletePS - He is your nephew too :-)Not officially but he loves his Lexi!
ReplyDeleteI say the dresses are all too cute :) And you can ask...if it doesn't work out it doesn't work out...but it never hurts to ask. And maybe you can spend a little time this year getting to know her better ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm making tutus for my flower girls! I couldn't imagine having my wedding without them since kids are such a big part of my life. You're right though that it's a pain for the parents.
ReplyDeleteHi there! We love that you picked our flower girl dress from Pegeen that we manufactured in Key Lime and Royal Purple style 301 - but please credit our work!!

I did credit it. That's why there is a "via" link under the picture of the dress that goes directly to your site.
ReplyDeleteIf you'd like me to link it to that link specifically, I'd be happy to, but it's not fair to say that you were not credited.
