Wedding Bands

Wedding bands are the most important part of the wedding, other than the marriage certificate, because it's the symbol of our vows, of our love and of the beginning of our new lives together.  It's been fun shopping for wedding bands, but it was really difficult to finalize our decisions.

The first time we went shopping, J really liked the more trendy, black bands that were made of tungsten.  Not exactly like this, but similar.

I wanted to get him whatever he wanted, but I wasn't sure that 10 years from now, he would still like this more trendy option.  He felt one of our friend's wedding band, made of titanium and loved how light weight it was.  We went and looked around at a couple of stores and didn't really love anything that they had.  So, we got online and started looking around and found this... J's wedding band!

Then there's my band.  I have gone over and over and over my options and I feel like I am always changing my mind about what I want.  I want it to match my engagement ring, but I could not decide if I wanted a really skinny band on either side or the actual matching band that's thicker.  I am pretty sure that I want my rings fused.  I thought at one time that I would want them separate, but as I think more about it, it's a lot easier to lose a little wedding band than it is to lose the two together.

We found out that none of the rings that Tacori makes are going to match up to my engagement ring exactly, and all of them would only be fused on the bottom side of the ring so there will be a gap, no matter what band(s) I get.  So, I have finally settled on the band that actually matches my engagement ring.  It's beautiful and sparkley just like my engagement ring, and I know I will be so happy with how they look together... so here it is, up close, my wedding band!

  1. I like the black one, the tungsten! This isn't the usual wedding bands use, but I like it.
