In a Funk

I feel like I've been in a little bit of a planning funk lately.  It's probably obvious based on my lack of regular posts lately.  I don't know what it is... maybe it's just that I'm ready for the holidays and those have taken my attention (I absolutely LOVE giving gifts), or maybe it's just that we are kind of in a holding pattern right now, waiting for the next round of planning and doing, or maybe it's that J is getting in to his busy time of the year and it's just not as fun to do stuff without him.

My parents are coming down from Indiana this week for Thanksgiving and when they are here, they are also going to take everything wedding (other than invitations) that is in our house, up to theirs.  It's going to make for a very busy trip there at Christmas, full of fun products, but I think that it will also give my brain a break from feeling like I should be doing something wedding EVERY DAY, which is kind of how I feel right now.

There are a few more things that we need to do to really finalize the "planning" stage.  The main thing... find someone to marry us.  I found a lady who is reasonably priced, and we need to meet with her to see how we feel about her.  We also need to meet with our party rental company at our reception venue so that we can make some decisions on lighting.  I think after those two things, our planning and decision making will be done, and we'll just have to work on our projects. I'll have a lot more info about our projects next month when we start to work on them.

So, hopefully we'll find some new things to work on soon to get me out of this funk.
