100 Push Up Challenge - Week 4

I know that this is the first time that I've posted about the 100 Push Up Challenge, but J and I have been doing it for the last 4 weeks and today we did a max test and we have officially gotten STRONG!

So, we started out by seeing what our max number of push ups was before we started.  We were somewhere around 20 or 25.  We did two weeks of the workout and then after week 2 we did another max out.  In that max out, we were probably somewhere around 30 or 35... I can't really remember.  Then we did two more weeks of workouts, three days a week, and we just did another max out yesterday.  So, I started around 25, increased my max by 10 in two weeks, and this week... guess how many I did...

70!!!!!!!

So now we have two more weeks, three work outs per week, and then we do the final test.

100 consecutive push ups!

I'm feeling really good about the workout... when we started, I thought that we would never make it to 100, but when I did 70 yesterday, it started to feel like I was WAY closer than I thought I'd ever be.

WOOOO HOOOOO!

  3. yay thats awesome! i hadn't been posting about mine but i can do 100 now consecutively. :) I'm so glad you two are almost at 100! that's so awesome :)
