My cousin and his fiance have spent the past year traveling the world... camping, hiking and blogging all the way. They had the opportunity to spend some time at an orphanage, where their friends and family were fortunate enough to contribute their own support so that food could be purchased for the kids. Her wedding dress was made in India, where they were confused because she still wanted a white dress, which is not how it's done in India, but she wanted a little bit of American tradition thrown in.
There will be people camping at the farm instead of staying in hotels, and we will all be pitching in to help get things ready on the day of the wedding. I am so excited that I get to go to the wedding, and I'm even more excited that I get to be a part of making the first day of the rest of their lives perfect.
I will obviously have a lot more to show and tell when I get back so it will be something new and different to look forward to! I'll probably dedicate next week's blogs to the stories and details from my trip, and hopefully they won't mind if I post some of my pictures of their wedding weekend :-D
Have a great weekend!
